Channel Islands Marina Expansion

The Channel Islands Marina has expanded to include new water ways, dockside homes, townhomes and nearly 200,000 sf of commercial space. Large public access recreational areas and nearly five miles of walkways are included. The first phase was Westport. The second phase, Seabridge, pictured above includes all the remaining vacant land to Victoria Avenue. The entire project is about one square mile in size.

Sea Cove, Larwin Homes executive single family homes, pictured above are now complete. With 2700-3500 square feet, these homes offer waterfront views & each with a private boat dock and priced from $1 million.

Whitesails, a John Laing project features new townhomes starting in the $300,000 range. The final phase is currently available. Only 88 homes will be built, adjacent to a new public Marina in the Westport area of Mandalay Bay. Call this agent for a personal preview.

 


RIVERPARK

Map it!

A new master planned community, RIVERPARK is making very attractive offerings to new home buyers. This large development of new homes features three new schools, 14 parks and a commercial center. Shea Homes, Centex and Standard Pacific are all players in this large new addition to the City of Oxnard. Located just north of the 101 freeway, off Vineyard, this area was formally known as El Rio. El Rio, founded around 1850 was a commercial hub for the local farmers and ranchers in it's day.  New homes offer beautiful construction in a rapidly changing environment. The City of Port Hueneme, better known for its deep water Port and Navy base continues to build new homes and redevelop existing neighborhoods at a rapid pace.
 


 

Centex Homes

Wingfield - East & West, in west Oxnard with homes originally priced from  the $600,000 range, now sell in the $300,000 range.  Floor plans from about 2900 square feet with  4 bedrooms.


Anacapa Walk

In the City of Port Hueneme, 49 new homes are now completed. The Olson Company is helping turn this City into a new town with a shining future.  Built on the former site of an abandoned hospital and medical office building, this project is just one example of redevelopment projects that have transformed this City in recent years.


Victoria Estates in north Oxnard

Upscale projects, such as pictured above and the golf course expansion just west of the existing RiverRidge Golf Course have transformed Oxnard from a sleepy semi-rural community to a destination for discerning families and singles.

Victoria Estates, is surrounded by the River Ridge Golf Course expansion, just west of the existing course and Victoria Ave.  This new community offers homes from about 2500-4200 square feet, both one and two story. 

Western Pacific Housing offers The Legacy series and the GlenEagles series of homes. GlenEagles offer floor plans from about 2200-2800 square feet. The Legacy series, with floor plans from about 2600-3100 square feet.   

Pacifica at Victoria Estates, just south of the River Ridge Golf Course and adjacent to the new primary school, floor plans as large as 4200 square feet. Twelve fairway homes are also incorporated in this community. 


Other Newer & Affordable Homes

The area just off Rose Avenue and the 101 Freeway offers the largest area of development for newer homes in the Oxnard plain. Home building here started around 1998 and continue today. 

Other newer home tracts have popped up throughout the county.  Port Hueneme offers affordably priced homes as well as other areas of western Ventura County.
