Channel Islands Harbor Expansion

The Channel Islands Marina has expanded to include new water ways, dockside homes, townhomes and eventually nearly 200,000 sf of commercial space. Large public access recreational areas are also nearing completion. The first phase, Westport,  is complete and sold out. The current phase, Seabridge, pictured above includes all the remaining vacant land to Victoria Avenue. The entire project is about one square mile in size. Much of the initial construction in Seabridge is complete. Many new condos are already sold out and the first phase of the commercial development is nearing completion.

The first phase, Westport at Mandalay Bay, has four sub-developments, Beazer Homes, townhomes priced from $700,000 with about 1880 square feet and up. Next, the Villas, are paired homes (two homes with one common wall) starting in the mid $800,000 with about 2400 square feet and up. 

The picture above, shows the current phase, Seabridge, now nearing completion. The long anticipated first phase of commercial development is done . Featured housing consists of Single Family Detached homes with private boat docks starting from 2600 square feet and three bedrooms are selling for about $1.5M and condos starting from just under 1000 square feet and one bedroom at $500,000. Pricing is variable however, considering the broad selection of homes.

 

Sea Cove, Larwin Homes executive single family homes, pictured above are now complete. With 2700-3500 square feet, these homes offer waterfront views & each with a private boat dock and priced from $1.2 million.

Whitesails, a John Laing project features new townhomes starting in the $600,000 range. The final phase is currently available. Only 88 homes will be built, adjacent to a new public Marina in the Westport area of Mandalay Bay. Call this agent for a personal preview.

 


RIVERPARK

Map it!

A new master planned community, RIVERPARK is making very attractive offerings to new home buyers. This large development of new homes features three new schools, 14 parks and a commercial center. Shea Homes, Centex and Standard Pacific are all players in this large new addition to the City of Oxnard. Located just north of the 101 freeway, off Vineyard, this area was formally known as El Rio. El Rio, founded around 1850 was a commercial hub for the local farmers and ranchers in it's day. John Laing Homes in Port Hueneme

Just starting construction of Beach House and Sea Glass communities in Port Hueneme, just a few blocks from the beach. The area just off Rose Avenue and the 101 Freeway offers the largest area of development for newer homes in the Oxnard plain. Home building here started around 1998 and continue today. Prices start about $550,000 and up.
